Learnea ("Learnea", "we", "us") runs a platform that lets creators launch a paid community: online courses plus a members area. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to everyone who uses learnea.io and the Learnea app, whether you are a Creator (you pay Learnea to run a community) or a Member (you join a Creator's community). By creating an account or using Learnea, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Learnea.
You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once at contact@learnea.io if you think someone else has accessed it. You may sign in with your email or with Google, where offered.
You must be at least 13 years old to be a Member. You must be at least 18 years old to be a Creator or to sell anything on Learnea. Do not run several accounts to get around our rules or limits.
Members pay for access to a Creator's community or course through Learnea. Payments are processed by Stripe. Learnea is not a bank and is not a financial institution.
On each sale made through Learnea, we keep a commission: 5% on the Starter plan and 2% on the Pro plan, calculated on the sale price. Stripe's payment processing fees are deducted from the Creator's share, not added to the Member's price. The commission rate that applies is the one shown for your plan when the sale is made. If we ever change commission rates, we will tell you in advance.
Creators agree not to route sales around Learnea's payment tools to avoid the commission on access sold through the platform.
Prices charged to Members are set by the Creator. Taxes may apply depending on where you are. Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations on their earnings.
Creators are paid through Stripe Connect. To receive payouts, a Creator must create or connect a Stripe account and accept Stripe's terms and identity checks. Payouts go to that Stripe account, after our commission and Stripe's fees. Timing, minimums and holds are set by Stripe and may depend on your country, account status and risk review. We are not responsible for delays or restrictions applied by Stripe.
Creators. You can cancel your plan at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. You can also cancel during the free trial to avoid being charged.
Members. You can cancel your membership the same way: at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. After that, you lose access to the community and its paid content.
If you want to dispute a charge with your bank, please contact us first so we can try to fix it.
Creators keep ownership of the courses, videos, posts and other material they upload ("Creator Content"). You give Learnea a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, play and distribute Creator Content, only as needed to run the service for you and your Members. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from reasonable backup periods.
You promise that you own or have the rights to everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. Course videos are hosted through our provider Bunny Stream.
Learnea's name, logo, software, design and site content belong to Learnea or its licensors. These Terms give you no right to them, other than the right to use the service. Members get a personal, non-transferable right to view the content they have paid for. They may not copy, resell, share or publicly redistribute it.
If you believe content on Learnea infringes your rights, write to contact@learnea.io with enough detail for us to find it, and we will review it promptly.
You may not use Learnea to:
We may warn, limit, suspend or end an account, remove content, or hold payouts if we reasonably believe you broke these Terms, created legal or security risk, or caused harm, including payment fraud or repeated disputes. Where it is practical and safe, we will tell you why. You may stop using Learnea and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (payments owed, intellectual property, liability, disputes) continue after termination.
Learnea relies on providers such as Stripe for payments, Supabase for our database and sign-in, Vercel for hosting, Resend for emails and Bunny Stream for video. Their own terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for outages or acts of third-party services outside our control.
Learnea is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not review all Creator Content and do not guarantee its quality, accuracy or results. Creators are solely responsible for what they sell and for the promises they make to Members. Nothing on Learnea is professional, legal, financial or tax advice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Learnea is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Learnea is limited to the amount you paid to Learnea in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Some places do not allow certain limits, so these limits apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you have a problem, please contact us first at contact@learnea.io. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot, the dispute will be handled under the laws that apply to these Terms and to your use of the service, before a competent court or authority, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. To the extent the law allows, both sides agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and not as part of a class action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will notify you by email or inside the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Learnea after the effective date, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel and stop using the service.
If we offer a referral or affiliate program, its rules are shown in the app and apply in addition to these Terms. We may refuse or reverse rewards linked to fraud, self-referral or abuse.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Learnea about the service. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right right away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your account or rights without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, sale or reorganization.
Questions about these Terms: contact@learnea.io.

This policy explains what personal data Learnea ("we", "us") collects on learnea.io and in the Learnea app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to Creators, Members and visitors. It goes with our Terms of Service. We do not run ads and we do not sell your personal data.
A note on roles: for the account you hold with us, Learnea decides how your data is used. Creators decide how they use the information about their own Members that they see through Learnea, and they are responsible for that use.
Where the law asks for a legal basis (for example under the GDPR), we rely on: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the service), your consent where we ask for it, and legal obligations.
We share data only with service providers that help us run Learnea, and only what they need:
Creators can see information about the Members of their own community, such as name, email and activity inside that community. We may disclose data if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or in a business transfer, with notice to you. Some providers process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except what we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Payment and invoice records are kept as long as the law requires. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of Learnea, such as signing in, may stop working.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, limit or object to certain uses, and withdraw consent. Under the GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar US state laws, you may ask what personal data we hold and have it deleted or corrected. We do not sell or share personal data as those laws define the terms, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
To use a right, email contact@learnea.io. We may need to verify your identity. We reply within the time the law sets, generally within 30 days. If your request concerns what a Creator does with Member information, we may refer you to that Creator.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and established providers. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
Members must be at least 13 years old. Creators, and anyone who sells on Learnea, must be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The latest version is always at https://learnea.io/confidentialite.
