Where Stan's prices come from
Stan has no public pricing page: stan.store/pricing returned a "not found" page on October 22, 2026. Its official help center lists "Creator at $29/month (or $300/year) and Creator Pro at $99/month (or $948/year)." The home page says "0% Transaction Fees, Always." and offers a 14-day free trial. You get paid by connecting Stripe or PayPal, which charge their own fees; Stan's pages do not quantify them.
Storefront first, or community first
Stan calls itself an "All·in·One Creator Store" where "courses, digital products, and bookings" are hosted "within your link-in-bio". Its Creator plan lists an "Unlimited online course builder & course analytics", "Recurring subscription setup" and "Community creation features". So both tools sell courses and memberships. The difference is the starting point: Stan starts from the store, Learnea from the community where members come back to learn and talk.

Affiliates for your members: $20 a month less on Learnea
On Stan, letting customers resell your products for a commission ("Affiliate Share") is a Creator Pro feature at $99 a month. On Learnea, affiliates come with Pro at $79 a month, $20 less. Learnea Pro also takes 2% of sales, so the gap closes as sales grow.
Method: Stripe at 2.9% + 30¢ on both sides (if you connect Stripe to Stan at that rate), a $50 average payment, monthly billing. Stan Creator Pro is then $99 + 3.5% of sales and Learnea Pro $79 + 5.5%. They meet when 2% of sales equals $20, at $1,000 a month ($134 each). Below that, Learnea Pro costs less: at $500, $106.50 against $116.50. Above it, Stan Creator Pro costs less: at $2,000, $169 against $189. On yearly billing ($790 against $948 a year), the gap is $13.17 a month and the break-even falls to $658.33 a month.
| Sales per month | Stan Creator | Stan Creator Pro | Learnea Starter | Learnea Pro | Skool Hobby | Skool Pro |

| $5,000 | $204.00 | $274.00 | $454.00 | $354.00 | $509.00 | $244.00 |
Stan and Learnea columns include Stripe. Skool columns are the subscription plus its listed percentage only, the reading most favorable to Skool, since its pricing page does not say whether card processing is included.
Where Stan costs less
Stan Creator and Learnea Starter are both $29 a month. With the same Stripe fees, Learnea Starter costs exactly 5% of your sales more: $50 more at $1,000 a month ($114 against $64), $150 more at $3,000 ($284 against $134). If you compare fees alone, Stan Creator costs less than Learnea Starter at every level.
What Stan does better
- 0% platform fee and a flat subscription that does not grow with your sales.
- One storefront for many products: digital products, courses, "Calendar and booking tools" and lead magnets in your link-in-bio.
- Marketing on Creator Pro: email broadcasts and flows, funnels, order bumps, payment plans, Afterpay and Klarna, pixel tracking.
- Stan AutoDM for automated Instagram responses.
What Learnea does better
- A community members come back to: a feed, private messaging, points, levels and a leaderboard, from Starter.
- Keeping members: subscribers can switch to lifetime access, and members who cancel are offered a loyalty discount.
- Affiliates for $79 a month instead of $99, and a lower total than Stan Creator Pro below $1,000 of monthly sales.
- An About page for your sales pitch and a second offer next to the main one.
About custom domains
Stan's help center says: "As of now, you cannot create or embed a custom domain into your Stan Store." You can redirect your own domain to stan.store/yourusername. Learnea Pro's custom URL is a short address on learnea.io, not a domain of your own. If owning the domain matters, neither one provides it.
And Skool?
Skool is community-first too: Hobby $9 + 10%, Pro $99 + 2.9%, with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls, and Custom URL and Affiliates on Pro. Read as subscription plus listed percentage only, Skool Hobby costs less than Learnea Starter below $1,333.33 a month, and Skool Pro costs less than Learnea Pro above $769.23.
How to choose
- You mainly sell one-off products and bookings from social media: Stan Creator, with its 0% platform fee.
- You sell a membership where people learn and talk every week: Learnea Starter, or Learnea Pro if you want affiliates; Pro costs less than Stan Creator Pro below $1,000 a month.
- You want email marketing and funnels in the same tool: Stan Creator Pro lists them.
- Weekly live calls are central: Skool lists them on both plans.
What Learnea does not include: Learnea does not include email marketing, sales funnels, a native mobile app or built-in video calls. More: Skool vs Whop vs Learnea, how to start a paid community, or try Learnea free for 14 days.
